VOLUNTEER WITH US!

Farming is hard work and there are many things to be done. We welcome volunteers to help with a variety of jobs. If you’d like to get your hands dirty, we regularly need help with a range of farm tasks including weeding, pruning, planting, harvesting, compost turning, washing and packing. We’d also love volunteers who would be willing to serve as community cooking educators, youth activity leaders, and pantry delivery drivers.

If you’d like to become a regular volunteer with us, please send an email to info@bradyfarm.org!

Due to equipment, staffing, and other needs related to group events, we are implementing fees for non-school group tours and volunteer visits:

Tours (45 min - 1 hr): $50

Volunteer Work:
Up to 10 people - $50/hr

10-20 people - $100/hr
20-30 people - $150/hr

(no more than 30 people at one time)

For groups over 10, we ask that you bring your own hand tools and gloves.

When visiting the farm for a tour or to help out, please be mindful of your clothing and footwear choices. If you are volunteering, it is a good idea to have the following items with you when appropriate: hat, sunglasses, and other sun-protection, plenty of water and a light snack, waterproof coat/pants/boots or closed-toe shoes, long pants, a light shirt with long-sleeves, layers if its cold. Farm work is a full-body workout, so remember to think of your comfort.
